Gulf of Mexico Data Management Work Group

The GOM Data Management Work Group is a collaborative effort focused primarily on improving the quality of well data in the Gulf of Mexico through sharing problems, solutions and best practices. The group was formed in 1998 and membership is open to all operators, service companies and federal/state agencies that deal with data management in the Gulf of Mexico. Since 2007, the semi-annual meetings have alternated between Houston in the Spring and New Orleans in the Fall, and they are hosted by participants on a voluntary basis. The meetings cover a wide range of GOM Data Management issues, best practices and a routine summary of agency efforts.
